Shipping
Plan delivery in separate stages: preparation or production, dispatch, transit and any import clearance. The model, available stock, destination address, carrier service and order approvals all affect the schedule.
Standard China-stock configurations typically dispatch in 2-3 business days after stock and order confirmation. This is dispatch time, not arrival time. Overseas-stock options and local delivery estimates depend on the model, quantity and full delivery address. For custom orders, sample preparation and production schedules are quoted after scope, components and approvals are confirmed. Freight, documentation, delivery responsibilities and any import costs are reviewed with the quotation.
Confirm the next step
Give the model, configuration, quantity, destination city/postcode and required arrival date. The quotation should distinguish what happens before dispatch from the transport and destination stages.
| Milestone | What must be confirmed | What to keep in writing |
|---|---|---|
| Availability and origin | Actual model/version, quantity, stock or production route, dispatch location and carrier coverage. | Confirmed origin and availability; an overseas warehouse does not establish delivery to every country. |
| Ready-to-dispatch date | Payment, specification/artwork approvals, component availability, packing and required document readiness. | Preparation or production schedule and the conditions that start it. |
| Carrier and transit | Accepted route for the exact model, battery, packing and destination; proposed carrier/service. | Estimated transit period and the scope of tracking or shipping documents. Transit is separate from production. |
| Destination charges | Delivery term and named location; freight, insurance, clearance, taxes and final-delivery scope. | Included, excluded and estimated charges; do not treat an estimate as a guaranteed all-in price. |
| Receipt and exceptions | Agreed recipient, carton/unit counts and the process for reporting missing items, visible damage or an operating fault. | Delivery reference, packing/label photos and affected serials; contact us to confirm the next step before any return. |
S18D is currently bulk-only with no evaluation samples. Its supplied adapter, charging power, cable and plug remain unconfirmed for the current custom build, so the final power and packing details must be agreed before shipment planning is finalised.
Sample scope · Delivery planning · Warranty and RMA
The timeline is set by what has to happen before the goods can leave, not by the courier. A stock unit is picked and dispatched; a produced order has to be built and its documents prepared first.
Standard China-stock configurations typically dispatch in 2-3 business days after stock, payment and order details are confirmed. Check the delivery address, carrier acceptance and required shipping documents before dispatch.
Overseas stock may be available for selected models. Confirm the available configuration, quantity, service area, charges and delivery estimate for your city and postcode. An overseas warehouse does not automatically serve every destination.
Sample preparation and mass production are scheduled separately after the model, components, customisation and approval steps are confirmed. The quoted production lead time excludes subsequent transit and import clearance unless expressly stated.
Stock availability, dispatch timing and service scope depend on the model, the configuration and the destination, so the date is confirmed against your order rather than published as a fixed number. The same applies to the minimum order and to wholesale terms.
| Question | Small custom programme | Larger programme |
|---|---|---|
| Typical volume | Below a full container | A container or more |
| Usual freight mode | Compare express, air and available sea options | Compare sea and any time-critical air options |
| What you trade | Speed, at a higher cost per unit | Lower cost per unit, longer transit |
| Battery documents | Prepared for the mode before dispatch | Prepared for the mode before dispatch |
Compare the available routes against total weight, packed volume, destination, battery acceptance, budget and required arrival date. A small order may have a sea option, and a larger order may still need air freight. Confirm route availability and what the quoted transport estimate includes before booking. Whether the units come from stock or from a production programme, the same lead-time logic applies.
Confirm the quoted delivery term, named location and included services before payment. Ask which freight, insurance, import clearance, duties, taxes and final-delivery charges are included, excluded or estimates.
Ask us to check the exact laptop model, battery, packing and proposed route with the carrier before dispatch. Confirm which documents are available and what the carrier requires; missing or mismatched paperwork can delay acceptance or clearance.
The model, the configuration and the market the units are going to. Import requirements follow the destination, so it is settled first.
Stock, local stock, or a production run, and the dispatch date that follows from it.
The compliance set for your destination and the battery transport documents for your freight mode.
Final quality inspection, the documents for the mode, and tracking against the confirmed route.
Standard China-stock configurations typically dispatch in 2-3 business days after stock and order confirmation. Transit and any import clearance are additional. Overseas-stock delivery depends on the model, quantity, address and carrier. Custom sample and production schedules are quoted separately after scope and approvals are confirmed.
Standard configurations can ship from China stock. Overseas stock may be available for selected models and destinations. The dispatch location, available quantity, carrier coverage and charges are confirmed against your order.
We compare available express, air and sea options against the shipment size, destination, carrier acceptance, budget and required date. The selected mode and its estimated transit time are confirmed in the quotation.
The delivery term, named location and included services are agreed in the quotation and order. Confirm who handles freight, insurance, import clearance, duties, taxes and final delivery rather than assuming these are all included.
Ask for the delivery term, named location and an itemised statement of included, excluded and estimated charges. Check freight, insurance, clearance, duties, taxes and final delivery. The quotation must identify any destination cost still to be confirmed; a unit price or freight estimate is not automatically an all-in delivered price.
The available product, shipping and battery documents are checked for the exact model, battery, packing, destination and carrier before dispatch. Confirm required formats and delivery methods with the quotation. Any missing information or unavailable item must be resolved before the route and booking are finalised.
A carrier may need battery and packing information before accepting the shipment. Documents must match the supplied model and battery; missing or mismatched information can delay acceptance or clearance. Confirm the requirements for the proposed route before booking.
Send the exact model, configuration, quantity, country, city/postcode and target date. We will check stock or production, carrier coverage, route options and documents. If the route is unavailable from one origin, ask about an alternative. S18D is bulk-only; a delivery enquiry does not establish sample availability.
If your priority is speed rather than a custom build, start from what is already in stock. For how stock and reorders hold up over time, see supply continuity; for what happens after delivery, see warranty and RMA. The wider sourcing process is set out in the sourcing guide.
Send the model, configuration, quantity, country, city and postcode, requested branding and target arrival date. Include whether you need a sample or a bulk order. We will check stock, carrier coverage, preparation or production time, transit estimates and the available document set. The current range is on the products page.
