Should we choose 8GB or 16GB for an M156FB project?
The Core i5-6300U reference offers 8GB (1 × 8GB) or 16GB (2 × 8GB) DDR3-1600 SO-DIMM memory. Test your required applications and browser workload on the proposed sample, then approve the memory configuration for the actual board. Do not assume every platform version has the same upgrade path.
How does the M156FB reference differ from NB15?
M156FB provides Core i5 reference builds with 8GB or 16GB RAM and SATA SSD options. The NB15 standard reference uses Celeron N4020, 4GB LPDDR4 and 128GB eMMC. Choose against the actual workload, storage needs, approved sample and quotation rather than treating the two storage architectures as equivalent.
Are these the only M156FB configurations available?

Does the M156FB USB-C port charge the laptop?
The supplied Core i5 reference materials identify the USB-C port as data-only. They do not specify USB-C PD charging or USB-C display output. Confirm the actual board; the reference uses DC-in and Mini HDMI.
How do we confirm the display, ports and power?
Review the version-specific specification and approved sample. Confirm USB-C data, charging and display output separately, together with the panel, battery rating, adapter and keyboard.
Can you supply our branding and keyboard language?
